Implemented Zero Trust through Conditional Access, MFA, Azure NPS and Identity Protection, governed with Privileged Identity Management and Access Reviews.
Access depended on network location and passwords, with no consistent check on who was signing in, from where and on which device.
Conditional Access policies decided access from the user, device and risk. MFA covered users, and the Azure NPS extension brought MFA to network access. Identity Protection scored sign-in risk. Privileged Identity Management made administrator roles time-limited, and Access Reviews checked regularly that people still needed their access.
Access decisions follow identity, device and risk, and privileged access is limited in time and reviewed.
