About this tool
Paste a request that starts with BEGIN CERTIFICATE REQUEST, such as one made by openssl, IIS, a Windows certificate template or a load balancer. The decoder reads it in your browser and shows the subject, the names being requested, the key type and size, and whether the request signature is valid, so you can catch a missing name or a weak key before sending it to the certificate authority. A request without subject alternative names will be rejected by browsers even if the common name is right. Only the request is read; never paste a private key. Nothing leaves this page.
